Reminder to get out this Friday night and peep the next featured movie of The Nordic Film Series!“The Swimsuit Issue” will be playing this February 10th at 7PM in 177 Lawrence Hall. No, this is not some documentary on the annual Sports Illustrated publication. It’s a film that follows Fredrik, a man who discovers a passion for synchronized swimming in the wake of a wild bachelor party. Convincing his floorball teammates to join him as Sweden’s only all-male team, they set their sights on the world championships in this oddball, comedic tale of courage, triumph and gender role reversal. So those of you hoping for women in barely there bikinis staring in fits of lust at the camera……sorry to disappoint. But! For those of you who like oddball Swedish comedies, this will no doubt rub you the right way.The Nordic Film Series runs every Friday at 7PM in Lawrence 177 until March 9th.
