First trailer for “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter”! When I first heard they were adapting the popular book of the same name I wasn’t particularly excited. The book itself wasn’t all that great in my opinion, relying on gimmicks rather than good or deep writing. I dunno what I was expecting though with the title “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter”.
Anyways, the first trailer just hit the web and I must say it looks AWESOME! Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted, Nightwatch, Daywatch) is directing, and this guy knows his way around vampires. Tim Burton is on board as a producer, and I’m a huge Tim Burton fan, so two big pluses there. Lots of slo-mo and axe wielding. I really hope this turns out to be good, cause this trailer has my mouth watering for more.
