Don’t forget! Tonight will be the debut of the UO Cinema Studies “Film on Film” event!
Two 16mm movies are being screened tonight at 7PM in 180 PLC, right across from the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art on the U of O campus! Totally FREE and open to the public! The first film is Hertz Harvey’s “Dance, Little Children”, a hilariously schlocktastic sex-ed short from the early 60’s concerning a fictionalized syphilis outbreak in New Jersey. Next will be the feature length classic, “Double Indemnity”, directed by Billy Wilder. If you’re itching for a good film noir then look no further, because this 1944 gem has it all!
Once again this will all take place TONIGHT at 7PM in 180 PLC! Admission is free and we will have listening devices for members of the audience that need hearing assistance. FREE POPCORN AS WELL! So bring a loved one and spend an evening watching Film on Film!!!
